BBQ Winners for the 10th annual Jack Daniels BBQ.

CBA steps up to the plate for the Western Bank Christmas Party...

I rolled up early Sunday morning and I was hit with the aroma of the real deal, Carbon De LA Matta, & the 10 th Annual Jack Daniel's BBQ. It was looking like a BBQ Shoot-out in San Juan with all the returning Pit Masters from the past decade, Hector Rivera, Gregg Fyffe, Raymond Escudero, Warren Ortiz, Ruben Rivera, and Alexis Arroyo, and Juan Carlos Madera. Top honors, Grand Champion for 2005 went to R.G. Premier Smokers and Pit Master Gregg Fyffe, who were back with an ax to grind. They were smoking hot when it came to this year's competition. R.G. Premier Smokers placed well in every category and brought home the bacon. 4th place in Beef, 6th place in poultry, 1st place in pork, 1st place in sauce for the 4 major categories and 2nd place in smoked meats, and 3rd place in desserts, our two new events. Congratulations R.G. Premier Smokers, and the entire team and staff, and all 22 teams that competed this year. You are all ambassadors of BBQ in the Caribbean.
