Honey Burbon Grilled Salmon

MMMMMMMM lip smackin good!

Prep time; 10 minutes
Marinate: 1-hour
Grill: 8 minutes
Serves: 4

Brown sugar, Jack Daniel's , soy sauce, and ginger
combine to create an extrodinary marinade for salmon
steaks on the grill.

4 - 6 to 8 ounce fresh or frozen salmon steakscut 1
inch thick.

3/4 of a cup of Jack Daniel's black label whiskey

1/2 cup of packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons of honey

2 teaspoons of soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper

#1. Thaw salmon if frozen and rinse well, pat dry with
paper towel and place in a resaelable plastic bag and
place in a shallow dish. have a shot of Jack!

#2. For your marinade, ina small bowl stir together
the whiskey, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger and
pepper. Mix marinade and pour over the fish in the
bag and reseal it. Turn gently to coat the fish and
place in the refrigerator for 1 hour and turn the bag
occasionally to marinade evenly. Have a shot of Jack!

#3. Remove from refrigerator and drain marinade and
reservr marinade for later. For a charcoal grill,
grill the fish on a greased rack of on uncovered grill
directly over medium coals for 8-12minutes or until
the fish is flakey (like my X) test with a fork for
flakeyness. Turn the fis only once as it cooks and
brush with the reserved marinade half wat through the
grilling process. Have a shot of Jack!

g carbs, 0 fiber; and alot of good eating.
